Halewood is six painters and decorators working across Wellington and the Hutt. Most of our work is repaints — villas, townhouses and the occasional office — and most of it comes from somebody who watched us do the house next door. The part that decides how a paint job looks in five years is the part done before any paint comes out, so that is the part we quote honestly and do not rush.

The same three steps whether it is one room or a whole exterior.

Free consultation and quote
We come and look at the actual walls. You get an itemised quote separating preparation from paint, so nothing is hidden inside one number.
- 02
Prep and paint
Washing, sanding, filling, masking and priming — then the coats. The preparation takes longer than the painting and it is the part that lasts.
- 03
Walk through and sign off
We walk the job with you and fix anything you point at before we pack up. It is done when you say it is done.
